Our Story / History

Learning for Success International School was founded in 2021 by a group of British educators who shared a vision — to bring a truly world-class Cambridge international education to the heart of The Gambia. With years of teaching and leadership experience in the United Kingdom and internationally, the founders were driven by a simple but powerful belief: every child, no matter where they begin, deserves access to quality education that nurtures both intellect and character.

From our modest beginnings with only a handful of students, Learning for Success has grown into a dynamic and thriving community. In just a few short years, our classrooms have become spaces of creativity, curiosity, and discovery — where children are encouraged to think critically, explore boldly, and express themselves with confidence.
